GOAL: Rotzo Campaign - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Walk through the potato fields to learn about mountain agriculture and in particular the secrets of this famous and delicious vegetable throughout Italy!
The toponymy of the place tells us stories of hunger, ingenuity, enormous work to cultivate these slopes. Great efforts alleviated a little by the arrival of potatoes from the new world, thus allowing you to survive more easily the long winters transforming this tuber with admirable mastery into numerous dishes that we can taste at the end of our tour in a local farm.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 1 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route develops between mountain paths and dirt roads in the countryside of Rotzo. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 150 m, there are no exposed sections. The route can also be done with strollers.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
COST: 15€, for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years.
MEETING PLACE: 9.30 am at the parking lot of the Rotzo Cemetery.
It starts on foot from the meeting point.
