Campiello Prize Literature 2011, Meeting with Authors
On 29th July 2011, at the Tourism Palace Millepini of Asiago, at 18.00, there will be a meeting with the five finalists of the Campiello Literature Prize 2011.
The books in the running for the coveted literary prize this year have already been selected from 180 editorial proposals by the "Jury of the three hundred", so called because it consists of three hundred readers of different age, culture, profession and social position .
Here are the titles of the five novels in the contest: "Draw the wind" by Ernesto Ferrero (Einaudi), "The last wife of Palmyra," by Joseph Wolf (Marsilio), "If you were here" by Maria Pia Ammirati (Cairo Editore) "The fame and misfortune" Federica Manzon (Mondadori) and "Not all the bastards are from Vienna" by Andrea Molesini (Sellerio).
Wating for the prize-giving, which will be held on the third of September in Venice, the meeting with the authors, for lovers of literature, is a unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge with the world of their characters, their inspiration and their literary style.
The event is open to the public (free entrance to availability), but must be booked at the Tourist Office.
