On Saturday 8 July 2023, you can take part in the guided excursion "Canove tra storia e natura", an outdoor adventure between the history and natural beauty of the place. 
The meeting point is at the headquarters of the Pro Loco of Canove, from where the walk will begin, which will take place from 9:30 to 12:30.

The event, organized by the Pro Loco Canove in collaboration with Asiago Guide, starting from the town, will take you to know a bit of local history to reach the places of the first prehistoric settlements. 

The steep slopes of the Valley, the "roan" precisely, give the name to this place in the ancient Cimbrian dialect. Among dark woods (tunkelbald), and unexpected views we will close our circuit designed to better know the history and nature of the area, experiencing a "Mountain of Emotions"!

MEETING POINT: 9: 30 am at the headquarters of the Pro Loco of Canove - We start on foot from the meeting place.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections. Please note that not all telephone companies have reception at the meeting point.

TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, any sunscreen.

COST: 5 € for the guided excursion (free for residents in the Municipality of Roana)
