DESTINATION: Monte Verena - Plateau of the Seven Municipalities
After a warm welcome aperitif we start the ascent to the top of Monte Verena.
Snowshoeing we will cross pastures and mountain woods where the night atmosphere, the snow and the stories of the nature guide will make the experience unforgettable!
From the top we will enjoy a panorama that sweeps from the Po Valley to the Dolomites, but above all we will have the opportunity to enjoy an exciting starry sky, to which we can entrust our New Year's resolutions and to watch the fireworks displays in the distance!
Once at the top, the warmth of the Forte Verena Refuge awaits us!
Here we will be able to enjoy an excellent New Year's Eve dinner which includes:
Creamed cod millefeuille
Late radicchio in saor with bread crouton and mountain lard
Creamy risotto with prima neve cheese and mountain pine-scented butter
Cannoncini of crepes with asiago cheese and grilled bacon
Pork cheek in apple sauce with mashed potatoes
Warm chocolate cake with a soft heart
- Wine, water, coffee
- Pandoro and prosecco for the midnight toast!
After the dinner and the New Year's celebrations, we will return to the cars with a pleasant descent with snowshoes!
Reservation is mandatory and will be valid only after payment of the deposit.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 5 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging).
The route is a loop and does not present particular technical difficulties, but has an uphill difference in height of about 500 m. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads.
The route may be subject to variations due to the presence of ice/snow.
TO BRING WITH YOU: MOUNTAIN BOOTS (NO MOONBOOT), LAYERED CLOTHING, WATERPROOF JACKET, WATER FOR THE DURATION OF THE EXCURSION (HALF A LITER) OR HOT TEA, POSSIBLY A SMALL SNACK SUCH AS DRIED FRUIT, GLOVES, HAT, A HEADLAMP (PREFERABLY WITH RED LIGHT). For dinner it is possible to change in the spaces of the refuge.
It is recommended to bring an extra layer of clothing for the descent.

We start on foot from the meeting place.
COST: €160 per person including welcome drink, guided snowshoe hike and snowshoe rental, dinner at the Verena Refuge, return snowshoeing.
The deposit to be paid at the time of booking is €60 per person.
In case of bad weather, the excursion may be cancelled.
In the event that there is no snow, there will be an excursion on foot without the aid of snowshoes (the price will not change).
