Three Mountains PRESS GREAT WAR IN PLATEAU
After the battle of Melette of 1917, the Austrians had forced Italian troops to fall back on a new line that leaned on the heights of Echar, Valbella, Col del Rosso and Col d ' Ecchele.
On 23 December 1917 Austrian III Corps divisions managed to break through the line occupying the Valbella, continuing beyond Melago. In January the 14° bersaglieri Brigade, attempted to attack from Valbella to Malga Stenfle without getting results.
We will accompany you along the line of the Italian resistance to understand the events that took place in December 1917 until the end of World War II.

Membership to the site by members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposals and a deeply respectful approach towards the environment and its history. Our guides are mountain professionals recognized and enrolled in the province of Vicenza; they propose to accompany busloads of people hiking and tours around the area, as required by regional law No. 33 of 04/11/2002 and according to the laws of the professional bodies of which fan part.
