Guided Excursion to the Places of the Great War with Asiago Plateau Guides - "Mount Cengio: the vertigo of war"
This excursion is ideal for those who want to combine an undemanding route with the visit of a place of high historical value, located in a location from which you can admire one of the most beautiful landscapes of the entire Plateau.
The hike is considered easy, walkable even by non-expert hikers.
The trail develops along the southwest side of the mountain massif, carved for long stretches in the living rock and in some places using tunnels, for about 4 km, allowing you to reach the 1347 altitude of the summit.
The difference of 150 meters seems not to be felt, as the many points of historical interest (trenches, tunnels, artillery stations, in addition to the famous jump of the grenadiers) allow very pleasant stops and in case of Warm days the passages in the gallery allow you to cool off.
The view of the final part of the Valley of the Astico and the plain behind it that you enjoy all the way takes your breath away.

We "Guide Plateau" are the first group of professional guides of the plateau. We are local guides operating on the territory of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities since 2008. Membership in the place by the members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposed destinations and a deeply respectful approach to the environment and its history.
