On April 25, 2016, during the 71 years since the Liberation, the municipality of Asiago is organizing a memorial ceremony to renew the commitment to strengthen day by day the ideals of freedom, justice and democracy in the memory of all those who have sacrificed to make us free.
The Italy out of the tragic events of the second world war is a democracy in which freedom is an indispensable value, commitment and wealth to pass on to future generations. In this day of commemoration and remembrance of the fallen for liberty, the town of Asiago wants to extend a strong call for peace among peoples and peace in solidarity and in mutual respect.
