Christian Music Festival "the world sings about Mary" in Asiago Saturday, August 10, 2013
Saturday, August 10, 2013, at the Piazza del Duomo of Asiago, the Christian Music Festival "the world sings about Mary" TOUR 2013.
It is an initiative organised by the Catholic radio station Radio Kolbe of Schio, in cooperation with the Parish and the Town of Asiago.
The evening will begin at 21:00 hours.
It will be the fifth leg of the 2013 Tour which will include seven nights during the summer.
A rally began in the Jubilee year 2000 presented continuously in many Italian cities as well as in the most important Marian shrines such as Lourdes in 2008, in 2009 in the square of the Basilica of Loreto and in 2007 and 2008 in the Esplanade of the Basilica Monte Berico in Vicenza.
Aims of bringing the Christian message through music and testimony of faith of artists who have donated their artistic talent for evangelism.
Increased the conviction that this event can reach many hearts, with the aim to enhance the grandeur of Mary. Intervened in these 13 years, many artists coming from Italy and from various parts of the continent. Asiago's concert will include some well-known faces of the landscape of Christian music.
From Pescara meet songwriter and guitarist Tony Nevoso. He composes songs with the intent to get the others, but above all to himself as an inner journey that continues today. " In 1999 he graduated at Hope Music School, the school for songwriters proposed by CEI. In 1999 on the stage of the Ariston San Remo participates in the "Jubilmusic", International Festival of Christian music. In 2000 he created the well-known song "Emmanuel" G.M.G. anthem of Tor Vergata, opening the meeting in the presence of the Holy Father John Paul II. And throughout he has performed also Hyaline in Canada, Spain, Poland. In 2005 in Sulmona (AQ) receives the silver plaque of SIAE Award for best songwriter Award "Augusto Daolio". In 2007 Critics Prize and 3rd place at the Jammin Festival. In 2011 the cd "Kilometers". It is engaged in with the musical "the risen Lord" and with the recital "a heart child".
From Treviso the young emerging songwriter Francesco Dal Poz that will perform live with his band. Has already released two publications. The music for Francis is an important instrument of evangelization for his peers. A faithful mate to rediscover the greatness of God. He brought his music and testimony in schools. In 2010 he received a special recognition from the city of Treviso "the goodness". In 2011 he released his latest CD entitled "Nascerai".
From Vicenza Cristina Grego a songwriter for several years in the Italian panorama of Christian music. He released a CD titled "life flight" published by Editions Ruggimenti. It is often invited to sing and bring his testimony of faith in the parishes and in the streets always with the desire to meet new people to discover their greatness of God.
During the evening will be offered the new anthem of the Festival "the world sings about Mary" and presented the traditional 2013 CD Compilation that collects the works of artists participating in the Tour.
