Evening of carols scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the parish church of Gallium.
Performing will be the Choir Anas Piovene Rocchette and the Altopano choral group 7 Municipalities, for a Christmas concert really exciting.
The choirs will sing at 20.30 hours.
CHORAL GROUP PLATEAU
The name of this unanimous invokes the provenance of singers living in many different countries of thePlateau and having as common denominator a passion for singing.
This choral group began its activity in 2000, as a chorus of male voices and since the summer of 2006 saw the inclusion of a female component, which allows greater variety in the singing method of execution.
The repertoire is mainly composed of national and international folk songs and mountain songs that reflect the traditions of the countries of origin and the memories of a now distant
CHORUS A.N. in PIOVENE ROCCHETTE
The choir was founded in 1995 by an idea of the then parent company Alpine Toni Castaneda, assisted by the late maestro Gianni by Fina. Despite his young age, the chorus ANA boasts a repertoire with songs ranging from Alpine singing to that of mountain, from traditional to that sacred and christmasy.
The choir performed not only in Italy but also in Vienna, at the invitation of the Italian-Austrian Cultural Institute and in Sardinia.
Present at the National Assembly in September 1998, the choir performed on the Pasubio, sacred mountain for the alpini, on the occasion of the pilgrimage in memory of the 80 years since the war 1915/18.
In October 1999 he recorded his first CD "our first 5 Years" under the direction of m. or Ottorino Donà and dedicated to the late m. or Gianni by Fina.
Since December 2000, the choir has renewed Presidency and art direction by relying, for this last, the teacher Livio Alberti.
