CHORUS OF BREGANZE

The "Coro di Breganze" was born in 1948 at the initiative of don Piero Cannon as a male choir, to animate the liturgical functions and significant moments in the community.

Since the 1970s, under various directions (especially with the masters ' Star Daniele Dalla Costa and Giancarlo 70 years ' 80/' 90), the choir is dedicated to the popular song, especially the songs of alpini and mountain. In the years ' 70 participated in some national choral competitions with significant results (2nd in Vittorio Veneto).

From 2000 to 2003, with Maestro Daniele Dalla Costa, delved into the study of copyright classical polyphony and folk song, in particular the "Lied". This period is testimony to the engraving of the CD "Lieder und Gesänge".

From 2004 to 2006 he had as teachers Simon Gamache and Flavio Nardon, with whom he filmed the popular traditional songs and sacred polyphony.

The chorus of Breganze collaborates to the musical entertainment of the initiatives of the "Alpine" Group in Breganze and most significant local events (from "Ciacolando" to "bandajorona", from "museums" to "prior Torcolato"). In conjunction with the "Fiera di San Martino" organises its autumn concerts "," evenings of Alpine and mountain folk songs, sacred and secular polyphony, joints in 2009 to 8th Edition.

In 2003 and in 2004 he participated in the 2° e 3° Venetian Choral Festival. In 2005 he held two concerts in Tourenne (France). In 2006 and in 2007 participated in the European Choral Festival "city of Soave". In 2009 he performed to Heves (Hungary).

Since 2007 is directed by Maestro Filiberto Zanella, which is facing international folk songs and contemporary song.
