GOAL: Piana di Vezzena - Alpecimbra
During this easy snowshoe hike, we will have the opportunity to explore the mountain huts and pastures of the Piana di Vezzena, immersing ourselves in nature and discovering the traditions and history of this fascinating location.
A borderland, where people living in the same mountains, speaking the same language, became enemies in 1915 during the First World War.
The nature guide will accompany us, providing expertise and sharing compelling stories about the evolution of the landscape between history, nature and Cimbrian culture.
Reservations are mandatory.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, hat, gloves.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
