DESTINATION: Valmaron and Marcesina

Snowshoeing in the snow we make our way illuminated by the warm colors of the sunset through pastures and woods of Valmaron and the Piana di Marcesina. At the fall of darkness, in the darkness that only the mountain can offer us, we lurk with telescopes for a suggestive experience of observation of the celestial vault.

The guide, passionate amateur astronomer will entertain you with many scientific and mythological curiosities about the night sky that always makes us dream. 

At the end... an emotion to try the famous "moon tan" accompanies us to the typical dinner at the Valmaron refuge!

Reservations are required. 

Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.

Please note that for dinner it is necessary to show the reinforced Green Pass.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in altitude uphill is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.

TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves.

COST: 20€, for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years. 

Possible rental of snowshoes and poles € 10 per person.

COST OF DINNER: 20€ per person. It includes porcini mushroom soup, polenta sopressa cheese and mushrooms, water wine and coffee.
