Asiago Guide offers a literary and experiential excursion to explore the places that Mario Rigoni Stern described in his works. 

Step by step we follow the rhythm of this winter season, remember the mountain traditions and discover together the Plateau, the protagonist of the writer's various books. 

We stop to observe to let ourselves be amazed by the nature that surrounds us, involving our senses and rediscovering the well-being that the mountains can give us, just as it was for Mario Rigoni Stern. 

Reservations are mandatory. 

In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water or hot tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunglasses, hat, gloves.

COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.

Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person

MEETING POINT: 9.30 a.m. near Asiago. 

Precise information on the meeting place will be communicated to those booked the day before the event. 

We start on foot from the meeting point.

The route will be established a few days before the event based on weather conditions and the presence of ice/snow.
