Destination: Piana di Vezzena - AlpeCimbra
The Piana di Vezzena, in Trentino, is a vast amphitheatre surrounded by mountains, such as the Spitz Verle, whose profiles illuminated by the moonlight create a magical, almost surreal atmosphere.
This is a place rich in history that has always been located along important trade routes and that was also the scene of fierce fighting during the First World War.
Snowshoeing, the amazement of wonder pervades you if you stop to observe the Nature that surrounds you, especially in winter where snow and galaverna create extraordinary plays of light when illuminated by the Full Moon.
During this night snowshoe hike, the nature guide will not fail to brighten your evening with curious stories about this area and the Moon, the queen of the evening!
At the end of the excursion it will be possible to stop for dinner to taste a typical menu at Malga Basson di Sotto:
- Mountain soup
- mixed platter of products from the Alpine pasture
- Dessert tastings
- water and wine

Reservations are mandatory.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route runs through mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, headlamp possibly with a steady red light.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
COST OF DINNER: 20€ per person for the typical dinner at Malga Basson di Sotto to be paid directly on site, variations to the above menu are to be considered not included.
