GOAL: Cima XII. - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)

Have you ever experienced the thrill of arriving on the highest peak of the Asiago 7 Municipalities plateau? 

This is your chance! A local nature guide will lead you to the conquest of Cima XII from where you can enjoy an exceptional view of the Alps and the queen of the Dolomites: the Marmolada. 

Along the way you will also discover many curiosities about what surrounds you. 

In these places you can admire many species of mountain animals such as chamois and marmots. Here you can also be intoxicated by the scents, shapes and colors of high-altitude flowers such as edelweiss and nigritella.  

In addition to the wonders of nature, the history of these places will also be revealed, from the visible traces of the First World War, to the communication routes between Italy and the rest of Europe ... A journey through history and nature to experience many emotions on a magical summer day! 

Reservations are required. 

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 5 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 800 m.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, packed lunch, hat, sunscreen.

COST: 20€ for the guided excursion. 5€ for children under 15 years. 

MEETING POINT: 9.00 am Junction of Galmarara

It starts on foot from the meeting place. To reach the indicated location you will have to take a stretch of dirt road, practicable by car, paying attention especially when crossing the rainwater drainage channels.  It is advisable to take them sideways.
