"Vier Hoch", the tallest. Thus it was called by the ancient Cimbri the mountain that, with its 2336 meters above sea level, represents the culmination of the Plateau.
"Zima of the Dodese" was instead the name used by the Imperials, since at noon the Sun is found, if seen from Borgo Valsugana, exactly on the vertical of the summit. This also explains why Peak X and Cima XI, which are moved further east. Two peoples, two states and two crosses that give their backs: one facing the Valsugana and the other turned to the south, in the middle a border that has always been questioned for which ... a coat of green, white and red paint given to the North Cross immediately followed a similar action, but in yellow and black; on that South !!!

WHO WE ARE - PLATEAU GUIDES
We "Highland Guides" are the first group of professional guides on the plateau. We are local guides operating on the territory of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities since 2008. The membership of the place by the members of the group ensures an intimate knowledge of the proposed goals and a deeply respectful approach to the environment and its history. Our Guides are recognized mountain professionals and registered in the register of the Province of Vicenza; they propose to accompany groups of people on excursions and guided tours in the territory, as provided by L.R. No.33 of 04/11/2002 and according to the laws of the professional books of which fan is part.

READING THE DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY:
FACILE: The route takes place on forest roads, dirt roads or easy mulees always well indicated and without orientation problems in cases of fog or bad weather. The elevations are contained within 250-300 meters and the length of the route is within three hours. These are a bit of long walks that require a hiking sports shoe, not necessarily the pedula or boot.

AVERAGE: The route definitely exceeds three hours, it is more complex, it takes place on a trail with some challenging climbs or descent but can be overcome without the support of mountaineering equipment. The terrain can be disconnected or lack of signals. The maximum difference in altitude, however, remains within the 400 meters.
MEDIO/IMPEGNATIVE: The route definitely exceeds three hours, it is complex for the difference in altitude that can reach 700 meters or for the length of the walk up to 6 hours, it takes place on a trail with some challenging ascent or descent but can be overcome without the support of mountaineering equipment. The terrain can be disconnected or lack of signals.
IMPEGNATIVO: These itineraries require a lot of experience, training and physical strength from those who travel them. it is necessary to know how to move expertly even in dangerous terrain: gravels, steep slopes or steep stretches, thick scrub, high and unreferenced, passages in rock, absence of springs. The difficulty of the terrain and the distance from the points of support require total autonomy. Where indicated there may be a need to bring to the tow bivouac material such as the tent, bivouac bag, stove, food, requires training, energy and strong motivation.
