On Tuesday 25 August 2026, at 21:00, the Cinema Teatro Palladio in Cesuna will host the show "Col piccone a catàr fortuna" by Gian Antonio Stella, an event dedicated to the events of emigration and the stories of those who left their homeland in search of a better future.

At the center of the story there is space for dreams, sacrifices and work in the mines, with particular attention to the figure of Angelo Galvan, from Roano who emigrated to Belgium and is remembered as the hero of Marcinelle.

The show will thus offer an opportunity to rediscover an important page of collective memory, also deeply linked to the history of the Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities and its communities, from which in the past many emigrants left for other European countries.

Admission is free and reservations are not required, subject to availability.

The event is organized by the Municipality of Roana, in collaboration with the Pro Loco Cesuna.
