Commemoration of the massacre of Grandeur on Monte Corno, Asiago plateau on September 6, 2015

TheAsiago plateau is preparing to commemorate themassacre of Grandeur on Monte Corno.

On September 6, 2015 on the Standing Committee for the commemorations of the resistance of the Alto Vicentino and the municipalities of Asiago, Lugo di Vicenza and Lusiana, with theAssociazione Volontari della Libertà and the Italian Federation Volontari della Libertà, arranged the traditional commemoration of Grandeur – Monte Corno.

The event will take place in Monte Corno, Lusiana, je 9:30, in memory of Fallen 250 of the Alpine Division "Monte Ortigara" of all partisan, Italian liberation Corps and internment and imprisonment.

In the Resistance and in the war of liberation are the historical bases and civil and patriotic values that have given Italy the Republic and the Constitution which still regulate the relations of democratic coexistence and solidarity of Italian society

Followed, after the massacre, days of terror on thePlateau, with fires, shootings and destruction.

THE COMMEMORATION PROGRAM

• hours 9.30 - Monte Corno – Comune di Lusiana: the monument Honors the "Unknown Fallen for liberty"
• hours 10.00 - Bocchetta Grandeur – city of Lugo di Vicenza: honors to the Memorial to the fallen of SPEER
• hours 10.30 - Grandeur – Comune di Asiago – Votive Chapel: Honors War Memorial, Memorial speech and Mass.

The ceremony will be accompanied by the band of Lusiana and the choir "Monte Pasubio" in Schio.
