Event of the Pro Loco of Mezzaselva in collaboration with Asiago Guide.
Experience the magic of the Christmas holidays with a suggestive guided excursion with lanterns through the ancient districts of Mezzaselva. We will walk together through historic alleys, woods and snow-covered meadows, accompanied by the dim light of lanterns that creates a warm, intimate and enchanted atmosphere.
Step by step we will rediscover the Cimbrian traditions of the "Bainachten", the Blessed Nights, the authentic heart of the Christmas festivities of the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.
Between Cimbrian legends, stories of the Alps, constellations and myths of the winter sky, the evening will fascinate young and old.
A special experience capable of giving a "Mountain of Emotions" and making you experience the magic of nature at night as in the past.
Reservations are required.
📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths, dirt roads and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The uphill elevation gain is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots (No Moon Boot), layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves. You will be invited not to use artificial light sources other than those assigned so as not to spoil the atmosphere!
🫰COST: €5 per person for the guided candlelight excursion.
Snowshoe rental possible € 10 per person.
The excursion will take place in Mezzaselva, depending on the snow present Asiago Guide will decide whether or not it will be a snowshoeing, all those booked will be notified the day before the event.
