Asiago Festival 2015Saturday, August 15, day of August and the feast of theassumption of Mary, St. Matthew Cathedral of Asiago hosts the 49th Edition of Festival Asiago with "l'assunta Concerto" from 21.00.

MICHAEL KONIG

Michael König was born in Bolzano in 1973. From 1992 to 2000 he studied at the University of music in Graz and Vienna organ (with Otto Bruckner and Michael Radulescu), sacred music and music education. He graduated in all subjects with the highest marks.

Was awarded in organ competitions nationally and internationally. He also attended master classes with internationally renowned composers, among others Daniel Roth, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, Almut Rössler, Ludger Lohmann and David Enlow. From 2004 to 2009 she studied conducting with Edgar Seipenbusch.
From 2000 Michael Koenig lives in Innsbruck (Austria). From 2004 to 2009 was organist and Director of music at the Jesuit Church, and artistic director of the symphony orchestra of the University of Innsbruck from 2002 to 2005. Now he's continuing a career free concert that already took him to many countries in Europeand in the United States, Africa and Asia. Outside of his activities as an organist and Director, Michael Koenig is a professor at the Pedagogical University of Tirol and the sacred music school of the Diocese of Innsbruck. It is artistic consultant for the Austrian Broadcasting.
