Musical evening on the Asiago plateau with "TAXI DRIVERS Acoustic Duo"
Events organized by the municipality of Asiago continue, for anestate to be experienced!
Thursday, August 17, 2017, an exciting concert by the "TAXI DRIVERS Acoustic Duo" will liven up the atmosphere in a charming evening full of good music!
The concert will begin at 21.00 hours and will see the talented musicians Nik V and Francesco Faldani performing on the main stage in a performance that will transport the audience on a musical journey through the most beautiful songs of all time, played acoustic version.
NIK V
Pop-bluessinger and guitarist, Nik offers his music by mixing his passion for the blues to an instinctive Italian rock, looking for a sound fresh and engaging.
Guitar style is a blend of influences, from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Mark Knopfler, from Eric Clapton to David Gilmour and Jeff Beck.
Immersed in the sounds blues, shared the Italian and European stages with Lisa "Sister" Hunt, Andy j. Forest, Cheryl Porter, Randy Cohen.
As a session musician to her credit 4 European tours with the band OI & B Sugar Tribute and collaborations with Alexia, Antonino, Badal, Sugar, Noemi and other singers and artists of Italian and international music scene.
In April 2015 comes SOMETHING DIFFERENT, their first EP of original songs, with lyrics and music written and composed entirely of Nik.
In June 2015 has won the critics ' Prize in the contest VicenzaNetMusic-with single SITTING on VOLCANO -and is rewarded by Eugenio Finardi which plays live during the evening ceremony.
FRANCESCO FALDANI
Francis Faldani was born in Castelfranco Veneto (TV) in 1982.
He studied violin throughout the period of childhood and adolescence, with performances in concert among the first violins in the orchestra Concentus Musicus Patavinus of Padua University.
After the degree in Musical Heritage from the University of Padua, he continued to pursue his passion for music by joining the MA in Jazz musical disciplines – guitar, at the Conservatory "f. Venezze" of Rovigo, getting a scholarship that allowed him to pursue his musical studies at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Mannheim in Germany , and graduating with honors.
Her style and compositional research have always been oriented towards the acoustic guitar with numerous artistic encounters during the years of the Soave Guitar Festival, with major internationally renowned guitarists such as Tommy Emmanuel and the American Australian Stephen Bennett.
Among the notable artistic holdings include precisely the Soave Guitar Festival (VR), the Frankfurt Musikmesse and the Lakewood Konzertwochenende by partnering with Lakewood Guitars and the guitar festival of the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society in Nashville (USA).
