On Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., in an unparalleled landscape and historical context, the voices of the "Piccola Baita" Choir of San Bonifacio, directed by maestro Nicola Piccino, will spread within the walls of Fort Corbin.
The Piccola Baita Choir was born in 1966 within the CAI of San Bonifacio (VR) on the initiative of a group of friends who love singing and the mountains. Later it became autonomous as a male choir, with an alpine and popular repertoire.
Under the guidance of its first conductor and founder Brunetto Capitanio, it has rapidly evolved and consolidated, also establishing itself nationally already in its fourth year of activity, winning the First Prize at the Choral Competition of Inzago (MI).
Since September 2023 it has been directed by the young and talented maestro Nicola Piccino.
In 2016 it celebrated its 50th year of activity and is preparing to celebrate, in 2026, the flattering milestone of the 60th. It boasts among the members the presence of some singers of the original group, but fortunately in recent times some young people have been added. Enthusiasm and desire to sing are always alive.
- The event will take place in the area in front of the bar of Forte Corbin.
- It's free.
- After the performance, Fort Corbin will extend its opening to allow those present both to visit the fortress and to stop for dinner enjoying the enveloping light of dusk.
