Thursday, August 14, 2014, at the Church of San Rocco, held a concert for piano: Oliver Kern, violin: Domenico Nordio, viola: Duccio T, cello: Julius Berger, cello: Hyun-Jung Berger in Asiago.

OLIVER KERN

Oliver Kern was born in 1970 in Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany, where he began studying piano at age 5 years.

He undertakes the artistic activity, distinguishing himself in the German music scene for the brilliant results achieved in international piano competitions.

He graduated with honors in piano, conducting and choir at the Academy "Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart, under the leadership of Wan Ing Ong.

Later she specialized in piano with Rudolf Buchbinder and Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, the Musik-Akademie Basel "and" Mozarteum "in Salzburg.

Get many awards in international piano competitions: first and second prizes in the competitions of Senigallia, Hamamatsu, Beijing and Paris.

It requires the attention of critics and won two prestigious competitions: "ARD" in Munich 1999, "Beethoven" in Vienna in 2001, which also follows the Special Prize for the best interpretation of Beethoven's Sonatas.

He has performed with famous orchestras, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the China National Symphony Orchestra, Radiosinfonieorchestre of Berlin, Munich, Hanover and Vienna, conducted by Dennis Russell Davies Masters, Michael Stern, Lü Jia, Marc Soustrot, Gerard Oskamp, Dmitri Yablonski. He has recorded for radio and television of Germany, Austrian, French, Italian and Japanese.

Place, in addition to the solo, Chamber music activities with: the famous La Scala String Quartet, Francesco Manara, first violin soloist of the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, Alessio Allegrini, First French Horn soloist, Mozart orchestra c. Abbado and the Accademia nazionale di s. Cecilia.

Published for the label "Realsound" several solo CD with works by Beethoven, Berg, Brahms, Chopin, Ravel, Schubert, Schumann, Scriabin, Stravinsky.
Oliver Kern is also Professor of piano at the renowned Hochschule für Musil und Theater Hamburg.

Domenico NordioDOMENICO NORDIO

Student, among others, Corrado Romano and Michèle Auclair, began his career at a very young age and won the international competition "Viotti" of Vercelli in 1987 (with Yehudi Menuhin as President of the jury) and the Eurovision Young Musicians in Amsterdam in 1988.

Internationally renowned violinist, he has played at the most prestigious theatres (Carnegie Hall in New York, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Barbican Center in London, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Salle Pleyel in Paris, Concertgebouw, Moscow Philharmonic, Tokyo's Suntory Hall and Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires) under the guidance of distinguished conductors including Pinchas Steinberg, Peter Maag, Claus Peter Flor, Yuri Temirkanov, Jean-Claude Casadesus, Sergiu Comissiona, Stanislaw Skrowaczewski and Yehudi Menuhin.

Has an extensive discography and recorded for Decca. From 2005 he directs the International Violin Competition "Città di Brescia". From 2011 is the project "Friends of Stradivari" Cremona Foundation Stradivarius. It's the magazine's Music columnist "Strings Magazine".

ALLISON T

Allison T graduated in violin in Milan with Felice Cusano. She then graduated from the Geneva Conservatory under the guidance of Corrado Romano. He studied with Norbert Brainin, Stevan Gheorgyu, Dario De Rosa and Thomas Brandis. At the Walter Stauffer Academy of Cremona he followed master classes with Salvatore Accardo. The Quartet's first violinist Elisa, has won numerous awards in national and international competitions, performing hundreds of concerts in Europe, Canada and Japan and making recordings and radio. Played chamber concerts with musicians such as Sir James Galway and Franco Gulli. JULIUS BERGER

Julius Berger studied at the Munich Academy of music with Walter Reichardt and Fritz, at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Antonio Janigro (as his assistant, he worked during the years 1979 to 1982), at the University of Cincinnati (USA) to Zara Nelsova and during a masterclass with Mstislav Rostropovich.

In 28 years Julius Berger was appointed Professor of music at the University of Wuerzburg and was one of the youngest professors in Germany.

Firstly, in Würzburg, in Saarbrücken, Mainz and Augsburg, promotes the best talents in his field.

By 1992 leads a course at the international summer academy Mozarteum University of Salzburg.

Julius Berger devoted much of his international concert activity to the rediscovery of the complete works of Luigi Boccherini and Leonardo Leo.

Julius Berger is known for his commitment to contemporary compositions.

Tours and concerts have linked musically with people like Leonard Bernstein, Jochum, Daniel Eugene Harding, Gidon Kremer, Paul Roczek, Margarita Höhenrieder, Siegfried Mauser, Jorg Demus, Norman Shetler, Pierre Laurent Aimard, Stefan Hussong, Olivier Messiaen, Sofia Gubaidulina, Wolfgang Rihm and Franghiz Ali-Zade.
