The Strong Verena was one of the strong players in the great war in the plateau. On 23 and 24 May of a hundred years ago, in fact, a Cannon from the party of Monte Verena sealed it the beginning of a tragic period for l' Italy. Not only the economic crisis that attanagliava our country, now we will put even the war.

Yes, because the war for our country went right with that cannon. Three years it took to drive down from theplateau of Asiago the austro-Hungarians and count the damage.

Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at schettinaggio field of Mezzaselva of Roana, in theAsiago plateau, will hold a cultural evening entitled "The Strong Verena", dedicated to the great war and the tragic event on Verena.
