Destination: Az. Agricola Kaputz - Contrada Roncalto - Asiago

Walking through the meadows and pastures of Kaberlaba and Roncalto, the bleating of the flock will guide us towards the Kaputz Farm.

Thanks to the passion and dedication of the breeders, we will enter the world of sheep farming , discovering the flock up close, the characteristics of the different breeds bred and the precious link between man, animals and the mountains.

From the encounter with the sheep to the demonstrations of traditional wool processing, we will touch a natural material that has accompanied the life of Alpine communities for centuries.

An authentic experience among animals, traditions and landscapes, just a few minutes from the center of Asiago to rediscover the slow and genuine rhythm of the mountains.

The event is part of the Asiago Guardian of Biodiversity cycle of events. Experiences with the guardians of nature, traditions and flavors of the Asiago Plateau. Event organized and co-financed by the Municipal Administration of the City of Asiago.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 1 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and some short stretches of paved road with little traffic. 

 The uphill elevation gain is less than 120 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.

🫰COST: €10 for the guided excursion per person. Free for children under 15 years old.
