META: Campi del Mandriolo - Asiago Plateau and Seven Municipalities (VI)
Snowshoeing, our steps through the Val Formica will be guided by the warm light of the sunset that brings out the profiles of the surrounding Alps. As darkness falls, we head towards the Campi del Mandriolo, where at night our view can range from vast panoramas to the sky.
The guide, a passionate amateur astronomer , will entertain you with many scientific and mythological curiosities about the queen of the evening: the Moon!
Snowshoeing in the magical atmosphere between the snow and the moonlight is an experience that can give strong emotions!.
At the end of the excursion it will be possible to have dinner with friends at the Larici da Alessio Refuge with the following menu:
- First course of your choice
- Mixed grilled meat with side dishes
- Homemade treats
- coffee
- water and wine or soft drink included in reasonable quantities (beer excluded)
Reservations are mandatory.

In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route runs through mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, headlamp possibly with a steady red light.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders. Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
COST OF DINNER: at Rifugio Larici da Alessio 25€ per person for the above menu. Please indicate any intolerances/allergies at the time of booking.
For children it is possible to arrange a menu for 15 € Option A: First course + Drink + Sweet Treat - Option B: Chop + Fried / Sausages + Fried / Frankfurters + Fried + Drink + Sweet
The cost of the dinner must be paid directly on site at the restaurant.
