TheHoga Zait is not just tradition and history, it's also sport and entertainment.
In fact, Cimbrian festival Friday, July 21, 2017, bind 7 Common SOK-Ski Orienteering Klubb Asiago organizes a demonstration of orienteering "Cimbrian twist" with maps and compasses.
The demonstration will start at 15.00 hours at the roller-field via XiX maggio.
Free subscriptions and mandatory at the headquarters of the ProLoco 18.30 p.m. on Thursday 20 July.
WHAT IS ORIENTEERING
The Orienteering is the sport of Woods, but you can practice anywhere, even in an urban center. By simply using a compass and a topographic map made specifically for this sport, with checkmarks unified worldwide, the athlete (or the enthusiast) is driven to make the best possible physical and cognitive abilities.
In Orienteering chasing your goal: the athlete runs to reach a competitive result, family and the beginner to have fun together and spend a healthy day outdoors.
They compete individually or in teams, passing by several checkpoints on the territory. Reached the checkpoint, you must register the passage on their witness. Whoever spends less time; in this sport doesn't always win the fastest, but the one who is able to move faster and to make the choices best path.
The disciplines FISO (Federazione Italiana Sport Orientamento) are: the Orientation Race (CO), the Mountain Bike Orienteering (MTBO), the ski orienteering (SKI or) and theprecision Orienteering (Trail or).
