Have you ever observed the starry sky far from the city? This is an opportunity to do so.

The excursion begins just before sunset, when the sun begins to set on the horizon and the sky is tinged with warm and enveloping shades. An expert amateur astronomer will guide you through this wonderful adventure under the stars.

After a short walk in a path surrounded by nature, we will reach a quiet place away from the city lights. Here, we will spread comfortable blankets on the ground to relax and enjoy the heavenly panorama.

As night falls, the sky opens above us revealing a myriad of twinkling stars. The amateur astronomer will provide you with exciting information about the visible constellations and the celestial bodies that stand out on this special night.

The hike culminates with the arrival of the rain of shooting stars, a distinctive feature of the night of San Lorenzo. As you lie comfortably on the blankets, you'll have the chance to express your deepest wishes and watch the fleeting stars sweep across the sky.

During the excursion you can have a packed dinner or stop at the Barricata refuge

Reservations are required. 

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, front battery.

COST: 15€ for the guided excursion per person, 5€ for children under 15 years. 

COST OF DINNER: platter of  cold cuts, cheese and polenta - water and wine included at 15 € per person. The dinner fee must be paid directly on site to the restaurateur.

MEETING POINT: 7.00 pm at the Barricata Refuge
