Snowshoeing, our steps through the Piana di Vezzena will be guided by the stars that create a suggestive atmosphere around us where at night our view can range from the profiles of the surrounding mountains between Veneto and Trentino to the celestial vault that has something wonderful in store for us...
On these nights, one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year, the Quadrantids, is passing through, capable of showing up to 120 meteors per hour at its peak. and with the peak expected on the night between 3 and 4 January.
The right opportunity to address our most secret desires to the sky and experience a Mountain of Emotions together!
At the end of the excursion it will be possible to stop for dinner to taste a typical menu at Malga Basson di Sotto:
- Mountain soup
- mixed platter of products from the Alpine pasture
- Dessert tastings
- water and wine
Reservations are mandatory.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route runs through mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: waterproof mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, hot water or tea for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, gloves, headlamp possibly with a steady red light.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
Snowshoes and poles can be rented: €10 per person.
In the event that there is not enough snow, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
COST OF DINNER: 20€ per person for the typical dinner at Malga Basson di Sotto to be paid directly on site, variations to the above menu are to be considered not included.
