DOG ART ATTACK: children's workshop on human/animal relationship, to the 11 August Gallium
Sunday 11 August at 16.00 hours in the green room of Gallium held a children's workshop on the relationship between men and dogs by ENPA Asiago.
The dog is a social animal that, contrary to what many claim, does not live in a hierarchically organized herd. Recent studies on stray dogs show that the concept of a linear hierarchy in the dog is somewhat far-fetched; If anything there is a behavior of shared competencies among many and not always.
In fact, given the evolutionary history of the dog, one can speak of both partnership (with mutual benefit relationship between the parties) and leadership (relationship to benefit greater than either party) depending on the circumstances and how they form social groups. The dog is no longer a Wolf and then you can't define exactly how an animal from the herd, but in the human family, he sees a "social group" comparable (in broad terms) to natural herd.
