DOLOMITI TREK - TRAILS UNDER THE ANTELAO
On 19 and 20 June 2021 a weekend of trekking in the high mountains. In infinite spaces, in search of physical and mental well-being in a unique and spectacular context: the Dolomites. Medium/demanding excursion, uphill difference 700 m D+ on the first day and 400 m D+ on the second day; 1100 m D- descent on the second day. We will walk along "classic" gravelly alpine paths.
We will cinder and overnight at the San Marco Hut in the HEART❤ of the Eastern Dolomites, in the municipality of San Vito di Cadore sul Col de chi from Os to 1823 m.s.l.m. After the long winter rest, we will be the first guests to inaugurate the new summer season 2021. We will relax surrounded by immense Dolomite bastions such as the Antelao, the Sorapiss, the Marmarole, where sunset and sunrise give unique SHOWS.
From the hut it seems to touch the normal way of climbing to the Antelao and the slender and elegant walls of Cima Belprà. It is one of the few shelters that still preserves the original structure (1895), small and welcoming, when visiting it seems to re-savor now forgotten atmospheres and is defined by many as "a corner of paradise".

WHERE AND WHAT :
Location: Rifugio San Marco ()
When: Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June 2020 (one night).
The activity includes:
• Trekking with historical-naturalistic explanations
• Medium-mountain escort of the Alpine Veneto Guide College.
• 2 historical-naturalistic excursions with Filippo Menegatti.
• 1 night in the hut (at the time of booking we will try to arrange the comrades) -bring bag / sheets-
• 1 dinner with typical menu of the hut and water per meal (extra drinks)
• 1 breakfast in the hut.

TWO-DAY PROGRAMME:
Saturday, June 19, 2021
• Meeting at 10.00 am at Baita SunBar in San Vito di Cadore
• Ascent on foot to the San Marco Hut (height difference of 700 m)* historical-naturalistic explanations during the itinerary
• Arrival at the shelter and accommodation
• Dinner and Night in the Refuge
Sunday, June 20, 2021
• Sunrise observation, not mandatory, on the exceptional DOLOMITIC panorama (camera is recommended)
• Breakfast in the Hut
• Trekking with historical-naturalistic explanations during the itinerary in the context of the Dolomites of Ampezzo (height difference of 400 m)* up to the Galassi Hut (lunch in the hut not mandatory and not included in the altitude)
• Return to San Vito (1100 m downhill) and snack in company with final greetings scheduled at about 5 pm.
* medium/demanding trek, but carried out in peace to taste the nature and peace that is typical of the place.

cost:
The cost of Dolomiti TREK is 110 € per px
- Fee includes: Guide service enabled for 2 days.
- stay (in comrades) at rifugio San Marco, dinner (water included) and breakfast (to be adjusted in cash at the hut)
- The quota does not include: anything that is not expressly described and specified.
Possible extra costs (not mandatory) for alcoholic beverages or other than water (10/15€)

CLOTHING REQUIRED:
- For trekking you need mountain boots, long pants, k-way (waterproof) torch for evening outings and in shelter after the light is turned off.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Everything you need to sleep in the shelter, sheet bag (there are bunk beds equipped with blankets, possibility, for those who want, to use their own sleeping bag).
- Adequate backpack for the transport of everything you need and enough water.
