Trekking with donkeys
Saturday, June 19, 2021, a trekking excursion with donkeys is scheduled to Mount Lemerle to relive the crucial phases of the Strafexpedition, which in these mountains poured heavily on our soldiers placed in defense as the last bastion on the Venetian plain. Thanks to them, he prevented the Austro-Hungarian troops from descending into the Venetian plain, from where they could easily advance to the great cities with dramatic consequences.
We will also admire some fortifications of the British Army,which in those years was sent to fight in our mountains in support of Italian troops.
The excursion will start at 9.30 am and will end at 12.00 pm

DEPARTURE:9:30 am at the Magnaboschi church (near the Osteria al Cacciatore) Cesuna, VI
HEIGHT DIFFERENCE :200 m
LENGTH: 6 km total approximately
TO TAKE ON EXCURSION:mountain boots, long pants, layered clothing, hat and sunscreen. Do not forget water for the entire duration of the excursion (at least 1.5 liters) as during the route there are no water supply points.
MANDATORY:be equipped with mask and disinfectant gel
COST: € 15.00 adults
€ 10.00 children under 15 years
The route does not allow the use of strollers.
