& Music-black and white Notes: "Lady Windermere's fan"

Cinema Teatro Palladium-Cesuna-In collaboration with Ass. Gallium Cultural Film Festival-screening of the silent film, Ernst Lubitsch's masterpiece, with the accompaniment of live music: Fabio Protégé, flute-Wednesday 20 August

"Black and white Notes" is a small review of silent movies born from the collaboration between Culture & music and Gallium cultural association Film Festival. The intention is to propose to the public now accustomed to special effects, the magic of black and white film without sound but accompanied by music performed live. During the second round, scheduled for the hours 21.00 on Wednesday 20 August at the Cinema Teatro Palladium Cesuna, will be screened on Ernst Lubitsch's masterpiece "Lady Windermere's fan".

Ernst Lubitsch was a Director, actor, screenwriter, and German-born American film producer, who helped mark a time for American cinema: was one of the first directors to have the honour of seeing his name placed before the title on posters and cast lists.
In Lady Windermere's fan (1925) creates a film version of the eponymous play by Oscar Wilde, of great refinement and formal perfection. This is for many the best Lubitsch's silent film: cinema is the essence of elegance and humour, pointed by the cynicism and enriched by melancholy. Founding father and unsurpassed master of sophisticated comedy, many of his works are authentic landmarks of the genre.

Fabio Protege, on flute, will again through his music

Fabio Protege undertook the study of the flute with Maestro g. Bernabò and graduated under the guidance of prof.ssa m. Finco at the Conservatory of Vicenza. Later he studied with r. Guiot, c. Klemm e. Caroli, p. Wavre and g. Pretto.
For two years he was first flute of the young Italian Sinfonietta under the direction of master p. Borgonovo and l. Spierer. Was suitable in several auditions for orchestras and was called upon to collaborate with important orchestral teams including Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, Orchestra da Camera di Padova e del Veneto, Treviso, Veneto Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Chamber Orchestra ' Lorenzo Da Ponte ', Italian Orchestra Soloists of Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza.
Participated, as first flute in the Orchestra's tour of Venice, in Japan with a series of concerts in some of the most prestigious Japanese concert halls. In 2001, together with the famous violinist g. Wilhelm, he founded the Ensemble (Ballet). As part of Chamber music he has performed with the likes of g. William, s. Tchakerian, m. Brunello, t.a Campagnaro, b. Canino, and many others.
Was premiered at the international competition "Franz Schubert.
In 2003 he won a scholarship as a researcher at the Institute of Music "g. Cini Foundation in Venice and the following year graduated cum laude at the University" Ca ' Foscari "di Venezia.
He has recorded for the labels Houston University, Velut Luna and Dynamic. Performed by Louis de Pablo Soliloquy at the opening concert of the 12th International Festival of Venice sent by Radio Tre Suite and collaborated actively with various composers including: a. Solbiati, f. Vacchi, f. Horn, p. Pandian, n. Campogrande, p. Corrado, f. Erle, g. Bonato, p. V.p, G Bernabò. It is also the dedicatee of Canto Notturno for flute solo, composed by maestro m. Zanetti and published by Armellin.
Particularly important for its formation were the meetings with t. Campagnaro, p. Meneghini, b. de Marzi, g. William, s. Perlini, a. Oliva, m. Vukotic and f. Third Bernardi. Is Professor of flute at the Liceo Musicale "c. Montanari" in Verona.
