Guided nature trail in search of fossils with Asiago Guide

META: South Zone-Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Did you know that fossilized fossils of crocodile and one of the most famous marine reptiles of all time, the Plesiosaur, were found in the Plateau?
Walking among the sedimentary rocks and in particular on the "ammonitic red" we pause to observe the remains of the animals.
Nothing is still, nothing is immutable!
Along the way we will see how the landscape has changed in time, looking at the territory as an open window on history, where the traces of every era remain among the quarries, in the beech forests, on the stones of the huts, the pastures......
Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
DIFFICULT: We assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, it is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads, mountain paths a few stretches of asphalt road, rarely busy and a labyrinth of rock! The uphill difference is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
FROM PORT WITH Self: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap.
COST: 15 euros, for guided excursion. 5th for children under 15 years.
