Guided nature walk with Asiago Guide
Saturday 18 July 2020 from 9.30am to 3.30pm
META: Marcesina Plain - Asiago Plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
During this excursion we enter the Plain of Marcesina, among the lush pastures meet special environments: the peat bogs, that of San Lorenzo and the Palù di Sotto are now very rare examples in the Alpine arc.
The microclimate of the Marcesina Plain, has allowed the development of peat bogs, where we find very unique plants such as Drosera rotundifolia, carnivorous plant that attracts from insects the substances necessary for their own survival and theAndromeda polyfolia, similar to the marsh cranberry, discovered for the first time in this location.
After the packed lunch,we will also visit the little church of San Lorenzo and the characteristic"case of Marcesina", to live a day immersed in the rural beauties of our mountains!
Reservations are required.
Mandatory personal equipment of mask and disinfectant gel.
FIX: We assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is spread between mountain trails and dirt roads. The uphill difference is less than 200 m there are no exposed sections.
FROM PORT WITH SÉ: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1.5 liters), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, cap, PRANZO AL SACCO, recommended a blanket or towel for the moment picnic.
COST: 15 euros for the guided excursion. 5th for under-15s.
