Destination: Malga Zovetto - Cesuna di Roana - Asiago and Seven Municipalities Plateau (VI)

Event co-financed by the Municipal Administration of Roana and organized in collaboration with the pro loco of Cesuna and Malga Zovetto.

A Sunday afternoon dedicated to the authentic flavors of the Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities. Walking through the pastures we will discover the link between territory, breeding and dairy production, following the entire supply chain from mountain herbs to quality cheeses.

We will visit the Malga Zovetto laboratory to get to know the daily work of the herdsmen and the traditions that make these products unique. Scents, stories and curiosities will accompany a journey to discover the culture of the mountain pastures.

To conclude the experience, a tasty aperitif with tasting of the specialties of the malga, to savor the territory directly in the place where it was born.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops on a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic, mountain paths and dirt roads. The uphill elevation gain is less than 230 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, sunglasses, any sunscreen.

🫰COST: €10 for the guided excursion and tasting at Malga Zovetto. 

Free for children under 15 years old.
