Sunday, July 24 , 2022 awaits you in Asiago, on the ancient Strada del Costo, an excursion with a party to the Pozza dei Gianot, in the Roncalto hamlet of Asiago.

Guest of the day will be Giancarlo Ferron, one of the most appreciated Italian mountain writers for an intervention on naturalistic themes and alpine pools alternating readings from his books.

Reservation required within 18 hours before with tax code. In case of bad weather it is anticipated to Saturday 23 July.

The proceeds will be totally donated to solidarity, social and historical environmental initiatives.

THE PROGRAM

8:30 am - Meeting at the Asiago Ice Rink for a circular itinerary connected to the ancient Strada del Costo.

9:00 am - From the old Asiago station, for the Morar district and from the nearby Guoli Scampa farm, take the ancient stony track of Stoan Platten, towards the Poslen district, at the foot of the Kaberlaba. From there you will perform the route of the Rogazione up to the locality Crestanon above Roncalto and for the Marcabisa, past the border meadows between Asiago and Roana, you will descend to the Pozza dei Gianot. Duration about 2 hours, difference in height 200 meters.

11:00 am - Meeting at the Pozza dei Gianot, near Roncalto, for the presentation of the works carried out, the intervention of Giancarlo Ferron - music and songs of the Canzoniere Vicentino.

13:00 - Toast offered by Montagne e Solidarietà and conviviality at the Pozza dei Gianot which can be carried out with a packed lunch or by booking the "mountain dish" + glass of wine or soft drink at the Piccola Osteria Itinerante ( reservations via WhatsApp at number by July 21st).

3:00 pm - Return to the ancient Strada del Costo with the Vaister variant, the Morar road, the Pennar dairy up to the Asiago ice rink; duration about 30 minutes on foot.
