Saturday 7 January 2023 awaits you in Cesuna di Roana a guided excursion entitled "The Winter War" to Mount Zovetto in the company of Asiago Guide.
The excursion will start at 10:00 and the return is scheduled at 13:00 ; meeting at the parking lot adjacent to the PalaCiclamino di Cesuna.
Reservations are required.
THE EXCURSION
Historical guided snowshoeing through the places of the Great War along the Path of Remembrance.
DESTINATION: Monte Lemerle - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
If there is not enough snow for snowshoeing, it will be a walk.

Crossing gentle slopes dedicated to mountain pastures and fir woods we arrive at the top of Monte Zovetto, where postcard views lead our gaze to the central basin of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni and its main peaks.
The guided snowshoeing continues through the territories that were affected by the Great War, as evidenced by monuments, fields furrowed by artillery shots, pit trenches and walkways, now restored.
An interesting excursion that allows you to discover the history and nature of Cesuna!
INFORMATION
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a ring, does not present particular technical difficulties and there are no exposed sections. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 200 m, the length does not exceed 6 km.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, cap, gloves.
COST: € 10 for the guided excursion per person, free for children under 12 years.
