A little-known circular itinerary , among high pastures, fir and beech woods and magnificent views of Monte Verena.
It starts from Ghertele, a place that legends define as a beautiful garden populated by an infinity of colorful and fragrant flowers and which still today is rich in a luxuriant mountain biodiversity, even if heavily threatened.
Walking through nature and open landscapes, we will discover the world of mountain huts, custodians of centuries-old traditions, and the deep link between the well-being of grazing animals and the quality of mountain dairy products.
Between stories, local history and views that give well-being, we will live an authentic experience dedicated to those looking for nature, tranquility and the pleasure of exploring places off the beaten track. 🌿🐄

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 300 m, there are no exposed sections.
🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate (long trousers strongly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1L), a small snack such as dried fruit, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses.
🫰COST: €10 for the guided excursion per person. Free for children under 15 years old.

🧭MEETING POINT: 9.30 a.m. at the parking lot in Via Ghertele, 3, 36010 Roana VI (located on the opposite side of the road from the pitch. Please do not park in the parking lot adjacent to the Ghertele restaurant.
We start on foot from the meeting point.
