On Friday, December 8, 2023, from 5.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., an adventure under the stars awaits nature and astronomy enthusiasts in Mezzaselva, in a special evening organized by the Pro loco Mezzaselva, in collaboration with Asiago Guide: "Stars, planets and legends at Baito Erio", guided snowshoeing at Baito Erio with dinner.
Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of the high mountains in winter!
Under the starry sky, with a simple snowshoe hike, you will cross the woods and pastures wrapped in the magical evening atmosphere to arrive at the hut, where the fire will be lit and an excellent dinner with friends will be waiting for the participants!
The typical menu for the evening at Baito Erio includes:
- Highlander's soup
- platter of cured meats and cheeses from the Asiago Plateau with side dishes
- Dessert and coffee
- Water and wine included
At the end of the dinner we will return through the woods, living a unique experience to discover the legends and traditions of the Cimbrian culture.

In the event that there is not enough snow for snowshoeing, you will proceed on foot without the aid of snowshoes.
INFORMATION
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, water or hot tea for the duration of the hike, a small snack such as dried fruit. Headlamp, possibly with a recommended steady red light.
COST: 50€ per person for the guided excursion, snowshoe rental and dinner.

From there it is necessary to travel by car with your own vehicle on an asphalt road, about 7 minutes.
