Destination:  the woods of Camporovere di Roana - Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities

Event co-financed by the Municipal Administration of Roana and organized in collaboration with the pro loco of Camporovere. 

Step by step we will immerse ourselves in the cool shade of the fir and beech woods that surround Camporovere, where every path and every name holds a story.

Höll, Perbala, Rasta...  Behind these ancient toponyms there are stories of bears and hunters, cults and popular beliefs, smugglers, woodcutters and shepherds who have lived and shaped this territory over the centuries.

Through places full of charm and memory, we will discover how the landscape of the Plateau is the result of the encounter between nature and man. An engaging journey between reality and imagination, following the tracks of bears and deepening the deep bond between man and the mountains.

Reservations are required. 

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths and some short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The uphill elevation gain is less than 230 m, there are no exposed sections. 

🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate (long pants are strongly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.

🫰COST: €10 for the guided excursion per person. Free for children under 15 years old.
