Destination: Monte Rasta and the open spaces of Camporovere di Roana - Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities

Event co-financed by the Municipal Administration of Roana and organized in collaboration with the pro loco of Camporovere. 
 

We start on foot from Camporovere, a characteristic mountain village where meadows and pastures alternate with lush woods. 

The steep slopes of the Val d'Assa generate updrafts exploited by numerous birds of prey to soar in the sky. With a bit of luck we will also be able to observe the characteristic holy spirit of the kestrel, suspended motionless in the air as it scans the ground in search of prey.

Accompanied by wide views and the flight of birds of prey, we will learn to recognize the lords of the sky of the Plateau, discovering their adaptations, hunting techniques and naturalistic curiosities.

An exciting experience dedicated to nature and mountain lovers, with their gaze turned towards boundless spaces!

Reservations are required. 
 

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 3 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. The route develops between dirt roads, mountain paths and a few short stretches of paved road with little traffic. The uphill elevation gain is less than 280 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate (long pants are strongly recommended), waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.

🫰COST: €10 for the guided excursion per person. Free for children under 15 years old.
