Saturday, 23 May at 2015 Asiago Millepini Theatre, will stage the play "Europe's last summer" by Giuseppe Cederna.
The show, which will begin at 20.30 hours, is dedicated to the great war. A show touching, to meditate, especially useful for young people and to make them understand what was the war, the pain and the feelings that ran in those years.
All told through memories, scenes, poems, letters from the front as well as from reading large texts-by artists such as Emilio Gadda and Giuseppe Ungaretti -which the author interprets as they were to the front to fight.
An absolute entertainment value that deserves to be followed carefully: in fact, this year marks the Centenary of the great war, theAltopiano di Asiago lives firsthand.
"It's obviously not an anniversary that should be celebrated or exalted , says Cederna –, but there is no doubt that this devastating event has deeply engraved on the destinies of Europe and Italy in particular, with consequences that are difficult to heal."
