Evening excursion to Monte Cengio with guides, Saturday 19 October

For the evening of Saturday 19 October Plateau Guides offers a Moonlight hike to Monte Cengio with dinner in a refuge.

The meeting is set for the 17:00 in front of bar of Asiago ice rink. Tour duration: half a day. FIX: easypath.

This tour is ideal for those who want to combine a little challenging route with a visit to a place of high historical value, situated in a position from where you can admire one of the most beautiful landscapes of the entire Plateau.

The excursion is considered easy walking, even by non-expert hikers.

The trail runs along the southwest side of the mountain, dug for long stretches in the rock, and in some places using galleries. The Trail extends for about 4 miles, allowing you to arrive at 1347 share the Summit but the difference in altitude of 150 m seems to not be heard as many points of historical interest (trenches, tunnels, gun emplacements, as well as the famous leap of the grenadiers) allow most pleasant stops and hot days in the Gallery allow you to freshen up.

The final part of Astico Valley and on to the rear which is plain all the way takes your breath away. It must be fitted with a flashlight seen numerous steps inside tunnels.
