Evening hike with full moon to Verena with Asiago Guide the August 1, 2015

Saturday 1 August 2015 Association Asiago Guide accompanies you in anevening hike with a full moon to Verena.

Meeting at 17.30 at the parking lot of the consortium of Dairies (via f. Baracca, Asiago). With your own move.

On this evening excursion accompanied first by vast expanses of larches and firs and then pine, we arrive on the heights from the breathtaking landscape, ranging from the Venetian Lagoon to the Swiss peaks, finally reaching the top of Verena (2015m) to visit the Moonlight the ruins of Fort Verena.

That structure, 24 May 1915, sanctioned the entrance of Italy into the war with a Cannon Blast to the Austro-Hungarian Empire; working in what was called ' the strong '. A hundred years from that tragic period, lest we forget, we visit these places still imbued with pain in silence that night only knows.
