Monday, December 28, 2015, experts of Asiago Guide will take you to explore the Monte Interrupted with an interesting excursion lasts half a day.
The Monte Interrupted is one of the places ofAsiago plateau linked to the events of the great war: on this mountain, in fact, is the Strong Interrupted, which during the first world war was used as a defensive military barracks.
The trip will be an opportunity to discover more about the history of this place and to admire theenchanting sight on the central plateau that characterizes it.

DESCRIPTION: The "Strong" interrupted " has a completely different story from other Highland forts, in fact it would be more correct to call it Barracks. Recently renovated thanks to the project Eco Museum of the great war is now, with towers and the parade back to its splendour so that is often used to exhibit works of art and as a venue for small performances. Its location, not random, dominates the central plateau and offers awonderful panorama
Cost: 10 euros, free under 18 years. Including Guide, taxes and insurance.
TO BRING: mountaineering boots (NO MOON BOOT), layered clothing (in winter there may be extreme cold, but walking or snowshoeing there heats up quickly), gloves, hat, water for the duration of the hike (or maybe some tea hot!).
