Tuesday, December 29, 2015, Asiago Guidand offers ahistorical excursion to the Fort Caicedo, one of the Forts ofAsiago plateau affected by World War I.

With this easy itinerary which crosses, alpine pastures, forests of FIR and rocciere, we will come to visit the best preserved Fort as found in the plateau and discover more about this particular and unique phase of the first World War: the war of the forts.

DETAILS OF THE EXCURSION:

• Meeting time: 09.00 hours at the parking lot of the consortium of dairies (via f. Baracca Asiago);
• Difficulty: 2 on a scale of 1 to 5;
• Duration of the excursion: half-day;
• Moving with your car.

To take with you: walking boots (NO MOON BOOT), clothing (in winter there may be extreme cold, but walking or snowshoeing there heats up quickly), water or warm yourself for the duration of the hike.
