Excursion organized by Pro Loco di Roana, Asiago plateau, August 3, 2016
On August 3, 2016 the guided tours organized by ProLoco di Roana will take you to explore the Monte Cengio, on the Asiago plateau.
This mountain was the scene of important battles during the great war, bloody clashes involving mainly the departments of Grenadiers of Sardinia. During the excursion you will retrace the mule tracks of war, visit the remains of trenches and military posts.
The departure is scheduled at 8.30 hours, with departure from Piazza Santa Giustina, Roana. At 8.45 you will stop at the forecourt of theex-Asiago station for a further meeting.
