Sunday, March 19, 2017, Asiago Guide organizes a themed historical snowshoe hike on theAsiago plateau.
There are those who will stop to the beaten track, and who likes to explore and learn about the land and its riches. From the stunning balcony of monte Val Marie you will understand why military installations and following the tracks of the trenches will arrive in military outposts of Baldo and Cimone.
Even Pope John Paul II walked on foot on this mountain--maybe conquered by the gentle forms, from Alpine pastures, or simply from the boundless landscape. This and much more is what awaits you along this easy course immediately North of Gallium which overlooks the wholeAltopiano di Asiago, enjoying spectacular views.
DETAILS OF THE EXCURSION

Meeting point: hours 9.30 at the parking lot of the consortium of dairies (via f. Baracca Asiago)

Difficulty: 2 on a scale of 1 to 5, a drop of about 200 m;

To take with you: packed lunches, walking boots (NO MOON BOOT), clothing (in winter there may be extreme cold, but walking or snowshoeing there heats up quickly), water or warm yourself for the duration of the excursion, k-way
