Exhibition dedicated to Matthew Massagrande, from Saturday to Monday 3 March April 9, 2012, Asiago
Saturday 3 December to Asiago, at the Museum "le Carceri" located in via Benedetto Cairoli
No. 13, in the presence of the artist, was opened the exhibition dedicated to Matthew
Massagrande.
The Municipality of Asiago, under the patronage of the Regione del Veneto and in collaboration with
theAlberto Buffetti Association, is pleased to offer this exhibition of works of
painter Matteo Massagrande, by his works of the early 2000s, to paintings
more recent.
The important anthological exhibition offers the continuous research on the matter and on
light of this great artist, through the exhibition of works of 80
medium and large size and over 20 recordings.
In the evocative spaces of the Museum "Prisons", already home to major art events, are
exhibited the works, made with mixed media on canvas and on wood, one of the most famous
and appreciated painters and engravers of the current art scene.
Also many etchings are exhibited, whose refined technique, learned over the years
youth by master John Barbisan, brought some of his works to be part of the
Prints and drawings of the Uffizi in Florence.
This major retrospective, curated by Nino Sindoni and Alberto Buffetti,
want to be a recognition and a tribute to the work of a great artist, very
appreciated in Italy and abroad by critics and collectors.
The exhibition that was held from December 3 to February 26, was extended until April 9, 2012.
